What do we do at Kidfit?

Kidfit designs health programs for children that include parent/ carer involvement

What is FITERACY?

The FITERACY program is a framework that is implemeted through many programs such as FITERACY and Art programs, FITERACY and music programs, FITERACY and drumming programs.

The FITERACY programs allow parent/ carers and children to work together by linking their physical activity adventures to literacy and story writing pursuits

 

Why is Kidfit Unique?

All our programs are Parent Inclusive and encourage parents to be their children's greatest teachers and role models. Kidfit Programs use the FITERACY coaching method to create LOW ANXIETY Learning environments for children and parents and to link their programs to literacy and language development.

We run programs for parents/ carers to be physically active and creative with their children from birth.

We also link all our programs with a development of literacy through our programs enabling all children and adults to become engaged in learning about physical activity through dance, art, bookmaking and sport.

 

Kidfit in the Community 

Kidfit is community focussed and assists a number of community organisations with raising funds.

Recently Kidfit raised over $1000 for a number of community organisations through the auction of the Baby Art work below. All our Baby Murals are used as story boards during our programs and are built by babies and their parents during their involvement in their programs. Story boards encourage parents to draw and read to their babies whilst they write words on the story boards
