The Kidfit FITERACY Family Team Program is Group Fitness Training with a twist.
Our FITERACY programs are structured much like a family quiz show with an element of fitness, music, maths and literacy all wrapped into a 1 hour team challenge
The Kidfit FITERACY teams have been created to assist families to access weekly professional and safe exercise opportunities for the whole family whilst also offering children a competitive edge to use their minds and their creative skils
FITERACY teams are established in all areas that Kidfit Exercise Physiology Services are offered and enable Kidfit clients to touch base with their exercise goals and to discuss their program with their Exercise Physiologist each week
What Makes the FITERACY Family Program Unique?
This program is an extension on the Baby FITERACY program offering parents the child to bond with their children through fitness, music, dance and books .
However, this FITERACY team has an competition element to it with 4 activities, music and fitness, maths and fitness, Cardio/ Strength and Fitness Games/ Quizzes .
All programs end with talking and story time to encourage confidence and literacy development for all ages. Often an older child will read a book to the bubs in the program, which is not only sweet to watch, but fantastic for babies and older children in the FITERACY team.
Monthly Fitness Assessments and Progressive Programs
All FITERACY Team members are assessed every month to monitor improvements in fitness and to present literacy development work such as music tasks and story writing tasks. Families are encouraged to reset their goals each month during these sessions.
Current Health and Literacy Information for Parents
FITERACY team coaches are trained to assist families with wading through health resources that are available.
Our FITERACY team sessions allow parents to learn health points and learn about accessing their local recreation services through easy to translate " Health Information Sessions" for parents at the end of each training session
How to Join a FITERACY Team Program
