Kidfit was founded on the belief that all children and families should be given equal access to high quality programs that guarantee to deliver positive outcomes for all. The Kidfit Corporate Social Responsibility pledge has been developed to ensure that all families from every walk of life can access our programs.
To fulfill our pledge to the Australian community and to abide to The Convention to the Rights of the Child we have developed a license for not for profit organistions.
In every community that you see the Kidfit brand we are committed to giving back through in kind sponsorship and fundraising initiatives to assist with raising funds for the current needs of children in that area.
The Bootkidz Community Referral System
This referral system is set up by providing a local not for profit organizations and child nurses with 4 gift certificates per month ($250)for the local organization to choose how they would like to allocated these.
To date Kidfit has donated over $5000 in inkind support and free certificates in 3 months and as the program rolls out this referal system will be made available to more families in need. The aim of the Bootkidz Referal System is to link these families with cost free activities such as the Bootkidz Baby Brigade which is a program also run on volunteer time by Kidfit Coaches.
Linking parents with other community programs and cost free alternatives
The aim of the Bootkidz Community Referral System is also to enable parents to connect with other parents and then be provided information about cost free activities for families or alternative activities that parents can then access once their 4 visit pass has expired. Kidfit would like to link with already existing pram walks and play groups etc to ensure that parents who come in through the Bootkidz Community Referral System remain connected to other parents and are able to continue the experience of community connection and bonding they were introduced to through the Bootkidz program within other community programs.
Free Bootkidz Baby Brigade Pram Walking Groups
The first Bootkidz Baby Brigade Walk has started on the Sunshine Coast with troops of babies and parents invited to join our walk from Happy Valley in Caloundra to the famous Moffat Beach Cafe by the Beach. The walk leaves at 8am on a Thursday and interested Mums and Dads are asked to regsiter by phoning Brodie on 0416517594 before attending.
Bootkidz Baby Brigades are a cost free program implemented by Kidfit to enable all parents to access a high quality program and to enjoy the benefits of connecting with other parents whilst immersing their children in the benefits of walking, talking and connecting with friends.
