Bootkidz Baby Band

Baby Band Booked to Rock Healthy Ageing Expo in Deception Bay Thursday August 20th

The Bootkidz Band has been booked to play at the Healthy  Ageing Expo at Deception Bay on August 20th at 2.45pm

Redcliffe and Deception Bay Teams are invited to combine their bands and to dress up as their favourite Rock Stars and to bring their ABC books along to share with the members of their community

The Baby Bands have been created to demonstrate another activity that parents can teach their children by demonstrating to their babies that they too can have a go at learning creative activities.

Our simple songs and dance routines performed by parents enable children to learn once again through team work and  parent  demonstration and provide a very entertaining and cute show for audiences .
Please contact Brodie on brodie@kidfit.com.au to obtain the songs and music we are practicing for August and  September. Parents who currently play an instrument or have dance or music experience are invited to contribute to the design of dance routines and to play their instruments with the children in the band.

Bootikdz Baby Band Practice involves learning 3 songs, using 3 different types of music and a    variety of ways to allow children to engage in music when they feel most comfortable

The Bootkidz Baby Band Practice is funded by the Department of Health and Ageing in Nambour, Deception Bay,  Redcliffe and Murgon and is a             partnership of Qld PCYC and Kidfit.

Your ABC book and Literacy Development
Many parents have been bringing in their blank scrap books to
class and sharing their reading and ideas with us through the stories and pictures they place in their books.
During our classes each term , your team is IMMERSED in a theme such as circus, or surf or
cartoons etc.

Your ABC book is simply a visual record of your conversations around this topic and a “ language diary” for your children to point to and attempt to tell you what is in the picture.

Your diary or ABC book can contain, words and sentences around the theme as your find pictures and read to your children. Place their names in their books also, eg Scarlett likes to watch the clowns at the circus , Clowns jump and dance around Mum and Dad etc. These words are actions that we practice in our classes and we are assisting your baby with matching the word to the action.
